Kim Cattrall

  Kim Victoria Cattrall ( born 21 August 1956) is a British and Canadian actor from Canada and the UK. Her most well-known role is her character in the role of Samantha Jones on HBO's Sex and the City (1998-2004), for which she received five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations, receiving the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. In the films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010) She reprised her role.



 



 Cattrall's film debut came in Rosebud (1975) In 1975, she made her film debut. After that, she continued to appear in different roles on television. Cattrall gained fame in the late 1980s in films like Ticket to Heaven (1981), Police Academy (1984), City Limits (1985), Big Trouble in Little China (1986), Mannequin (1987), Masquerade (1988), Midnight Crossing (1988), as well as The Return of the Musketeers (1989).
